THE ROLE

Marketing Assistant

The Marketing Assistant is a hands-on and eager-to-achieve marketer who supports the delivery of campaigns that help clients grow and perform. This role combines creativity with practical execution across SEO, paid ads, content creation, and social media, assisting multiple clients in a fast-paced environment.

 

You’ll support the team in bringing campaigns to life, helping with tasks like drafting copy, scheduling social posts, coordinating assets, monitoring performance, and assisting with basic reporting. This is a role for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a collaborative environment, and is excited to turn ideas into real-world results.

 

You’ll help ensure campaigns are delivered on time, meet quality standards, and are optimised for SEO, digital ads, and content performance, all while gaining hands-on experience and building your skills in integrated marketing strategies.

  • Assisting with the execution of brand and marketing strategies aligned with business and client objectives.

  • Maintaining consistency across all client touchpoints and campaigns.

  • Creating engaging, on-brand content for digital channels including social media, websites, emails, blogs and advertising platforms.

  • Developing campaign assets, including visuals, graphics, and multimedia content.

  • Managing content calendars to ensure consistent publishing across all platforms.

  • Producing marketing materials and client communications that align with strategy.

  • Monitoring ad performance and audience targeting to maximise ROI.

  • Managing social media channels and engaging with audiences authentically.

  • Scheduling and Posting to all major platforms in a timely manner using third party tools.​​

  • Supporting coordination with clients to understand objectives, share recommendations, and report results.

  • Coordinating with internal teams and external partners to deliver high-quality campaigns.

  • Contributing to pitch decks, proposals, and client presentations.

  • Assisting on the preparation of analytics reports for clients and internal stakeholders

  • Testing new content formats, platforms, and creative approaches under guidance from Marketing Executives & Marketing Manager

  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes, tools, and campaign efficiency.

  • Participating in ongoing learning to stay ahead of digital marketing trends.

You have some experience working within marketing teams and are eager to keep learning and growing as part of a collaborative team, delivering exciting work for great clients.

 

You’re either already based in Gozo, or have found yourself daydreaming about making the move to what we (slightly biased) believe is the best of the Maltese islands. You would welcome the opportunity to spend more time here, or even outright relocate (we can help make that happen!).

Service Name

  • MQF Level 5 qualification (or equivalent) in Marketing, Strategic Management, Communications, or Business Administration, OR 2 years’ proven experience in Marketing or Brand Management.

  • Knowledge of use of Canva and Meta Business Suite (or other relevant platforms and tools!)

  • Ability and willingness to work in a hybrid model with regular presence in the Gozo office.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

  • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

  • Strong copywriting experience and confidence

  • Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently

  • Genuine passion for creative work, storytelling, and brand building

  • Creative mindset with strategic thinking capability

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Service Name

  • Spoken and written proficiency in Maltese language.

  • Additional language skills beyond English and Maltese.

  • Already being based in Gozo!

  • Full clean driver's license and access to own transport.

  • Familiarity with email marketing tools (Mailchimp, HubSpot, etc.)

  • Familiarity with social media management tools (Rella, Hootsuite, etc.)

  • Familiarity with influencer marketing and partnership campaigns

  • Awareness of the media, advertising, and communications landscape in Malta & Gozo
